A successful event "3D printing in practice"
On September 24, 2020, CHROMOS 3D Solutions and the Swiss Engineering Association held a seminar on "3D printing in practice" with showcases on 3D technologies, 3D scanners and collaborative robot technology.
A round table talk led by Katinka Gyomlay (3D Solutions, CHROMOS Group) opened the well-attended event.
AM experts Professor Hans-Ulrich Büse (iwk), Adrian Helbling (Ecoparts), Dieter Schäffler (SRF Switzerland), Dr. Manfred Schmid (icams) and Dr. Dieter Woschitz (Encoma) discussed additive manufacturing methods. They gave an insight into their practical experience with 3D scanning, reverse engineering and 3D print material processing through to 3D finishing.
Following this, the participants were able to experience SLS and SLA machines, 3D scanning and collaborative robot technologies live in the show labs.
